Here's a present to all you Robotech Fans!
Well look what I've found this morning. Engadget has made a post saying that Sony Pictures is planning a 'Robotech' live-action film franchise. AWESOME!!! Well, hopefully it will be. If you're from the 80's like me then you might have grown up on these Japanimation series like Voltron, Tranzor Z, and Robotech. I watched these show religiously after school and even went on to purchase the DVD collection as an adult. My sincere hope is that if this movie is made that they will use as many practically special effect where possible and that the CGI will be excellent. Here's to high hopes!

Hat's off to team ROBONINJA for a 3rd Place Finish!
I'd like to say congratulations to the students who make up team Roboninja for their great effort on tonight. I've gotten word that they were able to bring home 3rd place. Considering that they only had two opportunities to program the robot for missions, this is a great achievement. Be on the look out for these young men in the future. Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to work with them again.

Thank you to everyone who came out to STEMS 2014!
Hello everyone. It was great seeing some returning faces at the STEMS event on yesterday. More and more children are beginning to get excited about learning STEMS subjects. I'm blessed to have been able to be apart of this event and this year I was able to bring one of my very own robotic creations. I tried my best to make sure that every child who wanted to give it a test drive was able to do so. I believe that they all enjoyed it and I'm already looking forward to next year!

Folding Robots!
Here's a little article I found on Engadget today... It's about a new robot design that allows for a machine/robot to change it shape by folding. The thing that I like about technology so much today is that it's perfect for Sci-Fiction movies. Take a read for yourself.

NASA's got BIG PLANS
I love reading about this stuff. What was once just dreams and movies is now slowly becoming reality. One day space exploration will resemble what we see in the movies.
